Java Developer
MUST BE US CITIZEN. SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION. Job Description: Work with an existing development team in designing, coding and implementing software solutions. Primary responsibilities would be to work with requirements team, design, develop, test and maintain Web based software applications. This activity is part of a much larger existing program. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge and practice in Java/J2ee development. Java, Java Web Services, WSDL and Schema development, SQL(Sybase RDBMS), Struts, JPA, Spring, Hibernate a plus. Additional Requirements: Must have/obtain CompTIA Security + Certification. If obtaining CompTIA Secuity + Certification; must pass the Security + Certification in the time between offer and start… roughly 4 weeks. This is a requirement. Additionally, upon 90 days of securing the position the resource must obtain a Computing Environment Certification (JAVA, ITIL, .NET or other). The Eligible Computing Environment Certification listing will be provided.
