Junior Level Systems Administrator


Location:	Herndon, VA

MUST BE US CITIZEN. SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION.

Responsibilities:
Junior system administrator (Windows) to support the operations team with maintenance and deployments for client applications.

Provide Tier 3 help desk support
Support Help desk with performance metrics and other reporting support
Support with clustered database environments
Support application release deployments
Support SIPR operations at client site

Other Deliverables:

Prepare weekly activity report
Respond to Tier 3 Tickets
Perform weekly and monthly tuning operations

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with system configuration and setup in windows
Knowledgeable of Cisco and HP switch configuration
Knowledgeable of VMWARE virtual networking configuration
Understanding of DevOps and working with continuous integration and continuous deployment

Education/Certifications:

Candidates with MS certifications would be a preferred
Security + certification
